Conway's Game of Life

Conway’s Game of Life is a game with no players. You draw a starting pattern of live cells and then four rules take over. A cell with two or three neighbors keeps living. An empty cell with exactly three neighbors turns on. Anything else dies off from being too crowded or too alone. That’s all it takes to get gliders, guns, oscillators, and a lot of chaos.

Draw some cells with your mouse or finger and hit Play. You can stamp in a glider gun or a pulsar, change the speed, turn edge wrap on or off, and pinch to zoom. Tap a live cell to turn it off, or drag across empty space to fill it in.
